2016 is going to be a big year for blockbuster films. We are a mere 2 month into the year and we already have a massive box office hit with Deadpool opening to $135 million. This is only a sign of things to come. We have so many trailers for pretty much all of the big budget summer releases this year, but one that’s been absent is the upcoming Ghostbusters reboot. Well it appears that has now been remedied. We now have our very first look at the movie, with a teaser trailer that announces when we will be getting the full theatrical trailer, and it’s coming soon. Paul Feig, the director of Bridesmaids and Spy, has taken over the franchise and has rebooted it introducing us to a new all female cast of talented performers.

It’s been a long time coming for this. We have been waiting on finally seeing a trailer for Ghostbusters, as it’s essentially the only big summer release we haven’t seen any footage for yet. Now we have the teaser for the full trailer set to drop March 3rd. All we have seen to date is some fun images which gave us solid looks at the full cast, most notably Chris Hemsworth in the new Annie Potts secretary role. The teaser basically shows us absolutely nothing so it’s difficult to get too excited for it, but the fact that we are getting a full trailer very soon is promising. Ghostbusters stars Melissa McCarthy, Kristen Wiig, Kate Mckinnon, Leslie Jones, Chris Hemsworth and Cecily Strong and is set to release July 15th.
