Have you ever wondered what it would be like if your office suddenly became a warzone? Some might think a battle to death would break up the monotony of cubicle living, but overall I think it would be a pretty traumatic experience. Well now you can visualize such carnage in the upcoming film The Belko Experiment, which just dropped its first trailer. This is like a pseudo Hunger Games for white collar corporate types. The Belko Experiment was written by James Gunn and is directed by the Wolf Creek helmer Greg McLean.

The film premiered during the midnight madness portion of the Toronto International Film Festival to modest praise. This is what happens when you mix Office Space with Battle Royale. The trailer is pretty cool, gives us the basic storyline, and maybe it gives away a little too much, but realistically how many people are wandering into theater to see this, looking for emotional depth. This, much like The Purge, is all about concept and visual design, and it looks like McLean nailed that. The trailer also reveals the more than capable cast that line the film. Mostly TV stars, performers like John Gallagher Jr. have certainly proven themselves worthy in past projects. All in all, this looks like a fun little horror film, that will boast some epicly bloody action, and maybe a few laughs.
